Mystery of Christ’s Return

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,”
1 Corinthians 15:51

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
1 Thessalonian 4:13-18

This is the secret of the return of Jesus after His ascension into Heaven. It is also called the Mystery of the Blessed Hope according to the book of Titus.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”
Titus 2:13

Not everybody believes that there is a truth about the return of Jesus Christ to Planet Earth.  Of a truth, Jesus still tarries after two millenniums (2,000 years), but He will soon return. The scriptures tell us that His return will be like a thief in the night - when no one is expecting.  It will be just like the days of Noah.  See Matthew 24:37-44.

Already, almost all the signs that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24:2-51 and Luke 21:7-36 are already fulfilled. Apart from the scriptures, there have been countless revelations, encounters, and happenings around us in recent times confirming the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The question is, Are you ready for Christ’s return?

However, note that during the return of Christ, not all eyes shall see His appearing as they will during the Second Coming of Christ, which shall be discussed later.

It shall take place in micro-seconds (within the twinkling of an eye). God the Father will instruct the arc-angels to blow the trumpet and Jesus will appear in the sky.  The dead in Christ will rise first. We, the saints that are alive, will be caught up together with them into the sky to meet our Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

We shall be ushered into God’s presence for the Marriage Feast of the Lamb of God.  We, the church - the Body of Christ, shall be bethrothed and joined to our Bridegroom.  The Church - the Bride of Jesus Christ - was purchased by the shedding of His Blood on the Cross of Calvary.

This will take place for a duration of three and a half (3 1/2) years after which BEMA will hold for another three and a half (3 1/2) years, adding up to a total duration of seven (7) years in Heaven. BEMA is the judgment of the saints that are raptured before the judgment seat of Christ. That was what Apostle Paul was referring to when he was writing to the Corinthians in his first letter to them.

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
1 Corinthians 3:10-15

During that same period on earth is the Great Tribulation.  The anti-Christ, the Beast, and the False Prophet shall be revealed on earth.
