Mystery of Attraction

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Mark 11:24

This is the secret to create the life that you want. The Mystery of attraction is the secret to getting whatever you desire. It is the secret to success. Do you need more money? Do you need to lose weight, get your dream job, get out of debt, fall in love, or achieve whatever you want to? The law of attraction will work for you.

In the above scripture, the greatest man who has ever lived on earth gave this assurance, that whatever you desire, when you pray and believe that you receive will be given to you. This means that you can attract your desire into your life.

You have all it takes to fulfill your dream. You have the power to recreate your life. You already have the power to attract your desires into your life. The Mystery of Attraction is constantly at work in our everyday life. It is about what we daily attract into our lives. The Law of attraction says, “Like attracts like”. We drive into our lives what we are feeling and thinking. We determine what we experience in our lives by our thoughts, confessions, choices, and actions. We attract what we are through our thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, and perspectives. Positive thoughts attract positive things into our lives, while negative thoughts attract negative experiences. We therefore need to constantly think on good things.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Philippians 4:8

“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
Titus 1:15

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23

The people you associate with, the books you read, the things you see, those things you listen to, your environment and what you focus on determines how you think and feel, and then eventually attract them into your life. What you focus on expands, and what you give your attention to takes charge of your life. You must not allow the negative happenings around you to affect your spirit man. Guard your heart with God’s Word and focus on positive things to live a successful life.

Although things around us, experiences, challenges and life realities may not present us with happiness, we must super-impose God’s words and promises over them. Joy comes from within via God’s Holy Spirit. The Truth, God’s Word, triumphs over the facts and realities of life.

When you meditate on God’s Word day and night, you will experience good success. Reading, listening and memorizing God’s Word via our body (eyes, ears) puts the truth into our soul (mind, thoughts, imaginations, feelings, emotions). Meditation, rumination, mutter, confessions, and deep thinking on the Word in our minds, then take it deeper into our spirit man. By the time we start acting on the deep beliefs in our spirit man, we experience the reality of our desire. Your thoughts, your feelings and your actions must be in perfect alignment to create the reality you want in your life.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8

You need faith to get what you desire. You must act on what you believe. Go beyond dreaming what you desire. Start taking positive steps towards your belief. Faith without works is dead.

“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”
James 2:18-20

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
James 2:26
It is high time that we took control of our individual lives and destiny. We need to create a lifestyle of appreciation and gratitude for what we are, have, and desire. Early this year 2017, I had a desire for a better accommodation because the two bedroom apartment we lived in was no more comfortable. I began to imagine a bigger and better place. I wrote out over a hundred lines of gratitude of my desired apartment. I wrote, “I am grateful to God for my relocation to my wealthy place” over 100 times in my journal. I began to thank God daily and by the ending of February 2017, my family got, and moved into a new, larger, more comfortable and lovely apartment a couple of weeks after, in the month of March. Beyond the desire, I started searching online, making enquiries from different estate agents, and inspecting different properties before getting my desired place. The new place was brought about by aligning my desire, prayers, belief, gratitude, faith, and actions. I did not have the money to get the desired place when I started the process; God however provided everything at the appointed time. Nothing new can come into your life until you are grateful for what you already have.

Do not be overwhelmed by our present situation, challenges and issues. Relax and trust in the Lord, that He will make all things beautiful. Count your blessings, and see the good that is in all you’re going through. It is in the process of your appreciation of what God has blessed you with that better things are being drawn into your life. See the good in every wrong circumstance you’re facing. Count it all joy!

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;”
James 1:2

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
Psalm 30:5

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Take note, the Bible says, “In everything”, not “For everything”, Give thanks!

There is power in the confessions we make. When you say anything positive or negative, either consciously or unconsciously, you are placing an order into the universe. The universe then responds, “Your wish is my command”. Eventually, what you ordered for will be delivered to you when it is ready. Positive confessions bring positive results.

Desire the best. Forgive yourself and others. True forgiveness means - “Thank you for giving me that experience”. Believe in yourself. See yourself NOW where you desire to be. Rejoice evermore. Create an atmosphere of joy and comfort around yourself. See yourself as a solution and not a problem. You are a victor, not a victim. You have the right and privileges of a Kingdom citizen. You are not limited by the economy of your current environment; you are an ambassador of the Higher Kingdom. You are a king and a priest; a special person. See yourself in the light of God’s plan for you. All your pain shall then become gain. Leave the zero level to be the hero God has made you. Step out from obscurity into the limelight. Jesus shall turn your night to day today, in Jesus’ name!

Mystery of the Way Forward

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:”
Exodus 14:15

This is the secret of the way to go when we face problems, obstacles, mountains, and challenges. It is said that God’s children do not have problems, but faces problems. Since light and darkness are not facing the same directions, they both move in opposite directions. Being the light of the world because they belong to Jesus, Children of God moves in the opposite direction to the movement of darkness.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
John 8:12

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16

When there is storm, troubles all around, pain and sickness all around, a Kingdom citizen goes forward towards the leading of the Holy Spirit. The way forward is sometimes forward head on against the storm.

“But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.”
Exodus 14:9-10

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:”
Exodus 14:15

“And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry [ground]: and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.”
Exodus 14:21-22

“And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, [and] all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.”
Exodus 14:25-28

It was the same wind that blew apart the sea for the Israelites to pass through the Red Sea that blew over the sea to destroy their enemies. The Egyptians were being rewarded for what they had done to the sons of the Israelites when Moses was born. The armies of Egypt were drowned just the way they drowned the innocent Israelite babies.

Here, we see that God gave Israel victory by telling them to go forward because they were being led by God’s servant, Moses. When you are following the leading of the Holy Spirit, every sea shall make way, and every mountain that stands before you shall be made plain.

“When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.”
Isaiah 43:2-3

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.”
Zechariah 4:6-7

However if a child of God has missed it, the way forward is the way backwards to where the steps had been missed while on the right path. Hence, the saying, “The way forward is the way backward”. When you miss your way in the journey of life, the way forward is in tracing back your steps to the exact point that you missed it, and then reconnect back to God’s path for your life. That is the way forward in destiny fulfillment. The speed at which you are moving is irrelevant if you are on the wrong path. The faster you move, the farther you are from God’s ordained path for your life. Here, the only way forward is turning back to where you left God, and there you will find Him ready to lead you on the right path to your destination.

“And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”
Luke 2:45-46

When the parents of Jesus lost Him, they had to trace back their steps to where they left Him to locate Him. Here, the way forward is the way back to where they lost Him.

Mystery of Foundations

A foundation is the base of any building. It creates a support for buildings. It is usually below the ground level. It transfers and distributes the weight of a building on the ground. The height and weight of a building is determined by the foundation. A small foundation points to the erection of a small building, while a large foundation points to the erection of a large building. In order words, the deeper the foundation, the higher the building. The effort, depth, and quality of materials that is put into the foundation of a building will determine the quality, height, and strength that it has.

The foundation is the root that holds a structure in place. When a seed is sown into the soil, the depth of the root determines its height. A seed of corn will only take a couple of days to germinate in the soil. Just about seven days after it is sown, it shoots up above the soil for the world to see. The plant is ready to be harvested a couple of weeks after. On the other hand, it takes the Chinese bamboo tree about five years to appear on the ground after the seed is sown. The plant then grows as high as 80 feet above the ground just within six weeks. One of the lessons that can be learnt from the story of the ‘Chinese Bamboo Tree’ is that of patience, persistence, hope, and faith. You must not give up while laying your foundation because the foundation will determine the height of a structure. Don’t stop investing, watering, nurturing and caring for your seed after sowing it. Just like the Chinese bamboo, nobody may be seeing the result of your labors yet on the surface, but down in the ground, the root of a giant structure is emerging in the depths of the earth. A foundation that is properly done with quality materials by an experienced builder will surely stand the test of time.

The Bible talks about different types of foundations;
1. Clay Foundation: Job 4:19
2. Foundations of the Earth: Job 38:4; 2 Samuel 22:8,16
3. Foundations of Nations: Egypt - Exodus 9:18; Jericho - Joshua 6:26; 1 King 16:34;
4. Foundations of Mountains: Deuteronomy 32:22
5. Foundations of the Heaven: 2 Samuel 22:8
6. Foundations of Houses (Temple - House of God, Houses): 1 Kings 5:17; 6:37; 7:9, 10; 2 Chronicles 8:16; 23:5; 31:7; Ezra 3:6, 10-12; 5:16;
7. Foundations of Cities: Ezra 4:12; 6:3;
 and on and on...

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
1 Corinthians 3:10-15

Here, we can learn some simple truth from Apostle Paul about how we build on the foundation that Christ Jesus has already laid:

1. We need the grace of God to build as a wise masterbuilder.

2. We need to be careful how we build

3. There are inferior and quality materials to build with.

4. Every man’s work shall be tested and revealed with fire.

5. Those whose work withstands fire shall be rewarded, while those whose works burn shall suffer loss.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Matthew 7:24-25

How are you building on Christ’s foundation? The way you live your life each day at home, at work, in the secret, and the public shows your value system. I will encourage you to build yourself with Kingdom principles. Let God’s Word be the final authority in your life. As a Kingdom citizen, you can’t just afford to live your life like that of the children of this perishing world. Set your affections on Heavenly things. Make Christ Jesus your ultimate passion. Love Him dearly, seek Him will all your strength, and sacrifice ‘your all’ to Him!

Mystery of Kingdom Power and Authority

“And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.”
Luke 4:36

Here is an account of how Jesus exercised His power and authority over unclean spirits. He knows, and he operated the secrets of Kingdom power and authority. To start with, we need to know the meaning, and difference between power and authority.
Power is the ability to do or act. It is the capability to achieve something. Strength is involved when power is at play. However, authority is the right to use power.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
Ephesians 6:10

In the King James Version of the Bible, the translators often used the same word to express both power and authority although they both have different Greek words.
Power is from the Greek word 'Dunamis' which is the same word that the English word 'dynamite' took its root from. Power is given to man as a gift even at the times he may not have deserved it. It is a fiery presence of God.
Authority is from the Greek word 'Exousia' which is the right to use power to achieve a goal. Ancient kings in Bible times use their scepters as a symbol of authority to rule their domains. Every citizen sees the king’s scepter as a sign of the kingdom’s highest authority. The king conquers other lands with military strength (power), and rules all the kingdom’s colonies through authority.
“He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.”
Psalm 66:7

“But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.”
Mark 10:42

While Jesus was here on earth, He demonstrated to us the authority of the Kingdom.

“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”
Matthew 8:26-29

The Psalmist also gave us an insight into the essence of power and authority.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4

In this scripture, the rod represents power. It is used to guard the sheep by using it to beat off wolves, bears, and lions. Likewise, the staff represents authority. It is used to guide the sheep by leading them into the way they should go. The staff is also used to maintain the steadiness of the shepherd while walking.
In God’s Kingdom here on earth, we rule as gods over the forces of nature.

“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.”
Psalm 82:1,6

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4

Christians have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus to rule over every other kingdom.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”
Revelation 5:9

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:55-57

Jesus has taken back the authority, dominion, and autonomy that Satan stole from man in the Garden of Eden, when He went into the grave after His death on the cross of Calvary. Jesus is the Lamb of God that was sacrificed for you and me.

“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.”
Ecclesiastes 8:8

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
Revelation 5:13

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
John 1:29

He rose up with power and all dominion over the devil by taking from Satan the power of death and the grave.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:19

Kingdom power and authority are given to us via the release of God’s Holy Spirit into our lives.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Acts 2:2-4

Mystery of Provision

“And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.”
Genesis 22:8,12-14

Abraham experienced God as Jehovah Jireh (The Lord My Provider) when he obeyed God's instruction to him to sacrifice his old-age son, Isaac, on one of the Mountains in the land of Moriah. Just imagine! He waited for the child of promise for decades. He was a hundred years old before receiving this promise. He has joyfully nurtured his son for years when God demanded Isaac as a sacrifice to Him. Sometimes, we may have to make sacrifices that seem hard to make, for us to experience God's unprecedented provisions.

“And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.”
1 Kings 18:31-35

“And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.”
1 Kings 18:45

Israel was experiencing a great famine because there was no rain for about three and a half years. Water was scarce, and food was unavailable because of the drought in the land. You will notice in the above scriptures that Prophet Elijah had to sacrifice the scarce commodity by instructing the Israelites to pour water on the altar. It was after then that the rain was released over Israel.

In other words, whenever you need anything, the secret of provision is sowing.

Whenever you need:
friendship, be friendly
mangoes, sow mango seeds
apples, sow apple seeds
money, sow money
clothes, sow the one you have
anything, sow anything you have!

SIMPLY PUT, THE SECRET OF PROVISION IS IN SOWING.

In Year 2014, I had an appointment of prayers with one of the generals in the body of Christ. I was inspired to take along with me a seed, knowing that it was a privilege to have such an appointment. It was an opportunity to be blessed. I dropped the seed, a brand new suit for him in his personal secretary's office while he went for a meeting after the prayers. A couple of hours later, I was given an unexpected brand new suit along with a cash gift by someone else.

Paul was speaking to the saints in Philippi.

“Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.”
Philippians 4:17

The Philippian Church was generous. The members kept sending provisions for Paul's need

“But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:10,14-15,18-19

This was what brought about the prayer of provision that is often claimed by many Christians today.

One of the quotes of Pastor Tony Olukoyede during the '4 Streams of Income Seminars' is, "Money is not real! It is just a shadow!! Create value, and money will follow." That is, you need to constantly create value for constant cash flow.
